Whisky Tasting Notes
They say a plumber’s pipes leak… an electrician’s house needs re-wiring… and a copywriter’s blog could always use more content.
While I am planning on doing a lot more writing (and posting) this year, I felt it’s worth mentioning that most of my content appears elsewhere. Mostly in client work through my day job at e-CBD, but also on sites like the Queensland Malt Whisky Society, Grand Central Sept. For those of you who don’t know, one of the many hats I wear is that of Chieftain and Scribe with a Brisbane malt whisky tasting club. On the last Wednesday of every month we meet to taste some fantastic whiskies, discuss each dram, and generally enjoy the company of fellow whisky lovers.
After each tasting I put together my madly scribbled notes, scores, and quotes from the night, posting a tasting review on the whisky website’s blog.
You’ll find I publish articles there a little more regularly than I do here. Just last week we had a special cask strength tasting, and the article for the night is already up.
So, if you enjoy a good dram, visit the QMWS website from time to time, or even come along to one of our tastings to see what the hype is all about. For now, I’m going to go have a nice, single malt nightcap.
